TRUMBULL — The Staples High boys tennis team defeated the host Trumbull Eagles 5-2, posting wins at second and fourth singles, as well as in all three doubles spots, on April 28.

The Wreckers bounced back from a 4-3 loss to visiting Fairfield Warde on April 25.
