WESTPORT — The Westport Community Theatre is poised to debut its new season, with the first performances beginning on Friday, Sept. 18th.

The theater’s 69th season will feature six plays and run through Aug. 22nd, 2027. Featured productions include Vintage Hitchcock: A Live Radio Play; Betrayal; Summer, 1976; What the Constitution Means to Me; Catch 22; and Happy Days.

The first play in the season recreates the early Alfred Hitchcock radio thrillers The Lodger, Sabotage, and The 39 Steps. Running from Sept. 18th to Oct. 4th, it will include live sound effects, musical underscoring, and vintage commercials that allow audiences to experience the golden age of radio.
