FAIRFIELD–Coming off back-to-back heartbreaking losses, the 7-4 Staples Wreckers took a trip up to Fairfield Thursday for a matchup against the Ludlowe Falcons, looking to get back on the right track.
Staples grabbed an early lead, one they’d never give back. Behind the efforts of senior captain Ryan Phelps, the Wreckers dominated the Falcons for the entire game. Phelps scored 18 points in the game.
At the half, Staples had a 17-point lead, 35-18.
The Wreckers travel back to Fairfield for a game against Warde, Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
