STAMFORD–The Staples boys soccer team scored very early and very late at Stamford on Monday. They added one more goal in each half, on their way to a 4-1 victory.

Will Adams started things off just 1:16 into the match. Reese Watkins ended it, with one minute remaining. Other goals came from Murilo Moreno and Jaden Mueller (off an alert steal). Assists were registered by Adams, Mueller and Matthew Jordan.

The Wreckers are now 6-1-3. Their next match is Wednesday, at Bridgeport Central. Kickoff is 4 p.m.
