DANBURY — The Danbury Concert Association is continuing its 2026-2027 concert season this weekend, welcoming a distinguished orchestra from the Netherlands.

Nine virtuosos from the Camerata Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam will take the stage at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25th at the Western Connecticut State University’s Visual and Performing Arts Center. The Camerata RCO features a combination of wind and string instruments and “delivers a powerful new perspective on beloved orchestral masterworks.”

The orchestra was formed in 2009 and issued its first recorded performance in 2012. It has become a noteworthy touring ensemble, performing 50 concerts worldwide each season. The Danbury Concert Association says the event is a chance for audiences to enjoy world-class music in an intimate setting.
