WESTPORT–Staples girls tennis, the No. 2 seed in the FCIAC Tournament, followed up a 7-0 win over No. 7 Ridgefield in the quarterfinals on May 13 with a 5-2 victory over No. 3 Fairfield Ludlowe in the semis on Monday, May 18 — both on home court.
The Wreckers advance to Thursday’s championship match which will be held Thursday, May 21 at neutral site Wilton beginning at 1 p.m. The Wreckers will face the winner of No. 1 Greenwich and No. 4 New Canaan who will meet Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Singles
1 Olivia Lazar lost 2-6, 2-6
2 Amelia Berkowitz won 6-1, 7-5
3 Adrianna Gavriliou won 6-1, 6-3
4 Kat Siegner won 5-7, 6-3, 6-3
Doubles
1 Isabel Alfageme and Rachel Guzman lost 6-1, 6-0
2 Aanya Gandhi and Azita Vazhayil won 7-6, 4-6, 7-6
3 Dylan Lehrer and Emme Steinberg won 6-4, 6-3
