GREENWICH — One more to go. Staples field hockey is one win away from back-to-back FCIAC championships coming off a 4-1 win over No. 5 Fairfield Ludlowe in Saturday’s semifinals at neutral site Greenwich High.

The unbeaten, top-seeded and defending champion Wreckers will compete in the pinnacle game against No. 2 Darien, a 3-0 winner over No. 6 Greenwich. The title game is a rematch of last year’s contest. It will be played on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at Fairfield’s Brien McMahon field at 6 p.m.

In the semifinal round Daisy Hackett and Mary Stevens both scored twice and Leah Larit had an assist.
