WESTPORT — Fresh off their successful run for the FCIAC championship, the Staples girls varsity soccer team was joined by the freshmen and JV teams in GSOCC’s First Annual Coaching Clinic.
The high school players were joined by 65 K-5th graders at the Wakeman Turf field Saturday.
The event raised funds for GSOCC — the entire girls soccer program at Staples.
The varsity teams plays in the first round of the CIAC playoffs at 2 p.m. this afternoon at home.
