WESTPORT–The Building Department has issued a permit to demolish the house at 8 Manitou Road.

The single-story ranch was built in 1952. It has 2,900-square-feet of living space, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a basement area and stone patio.

The property traded hands in 2024 for $2,710,000. It had previously traded for $1,050,000 in 2002 and for $635,000 in 1998. The property’s current assessment is $1,861,800.
