WESTPORT–The Building Department has issued a permit to demolish the house at 6 Old Orchard Road.
The single-story ranch was built in 1951. It has 2,400-square-feet of living space, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a basement area, a crawl space, a garage, an open porch and a stone patio.
The property traded hands in October for $1,326,000. It had previously traded for $280,000 in 1997. The property’s current assessment is $503,100.
Old Orchard Road is off Maple Avenue N.
