WESTPORT–The Building Department today issued a demolition permit for the house at 2 Surf Road.
The 2-story custom colonial, built in 1968, has 7,000-square-feet of living space, five bedrooms, five baths, a concrete pier, a wooden dock, a basement, a garage, a stone terrace, an open porch, an enclosed porch and a finished upper story.
The property traded hands in 2020 for $2,100,000 and in 1988 for $1,100,000.
The property’s 2020 assessment is $2,150,100.
Surf Road is off Bermuda Road, in Saugatuck Shores.
