Valentine’s eve comedy show brings laughs before love

WESTPORT–Laughter comes before love this weekend when a slate of comedians take the stage at VFW 399 on the eve of Valentine’s Day.

Upstairs Comedy at the VFW will present its first show of the year this Friday, Feb. 13 at 8 p.m. The VFW post is at 465 Riverside Ave., Westport.

The show will feature comedians Davin Rosenblatt, Paul Taro, Autumn Harvist and Joe Pontillo. Matt Zako, an actor and on-air personality, will host.

The Eventbrite page for the event promises “a cheap date night or just a cheap regular night out. But don’t worry the laughs are anything but.”

Tickets are $20, with a one-drink minimum. The bar offers a light food menu.

The evening is presented by Laughing Gas Comedy and The City’s Backyard Podcast
