
WESTPORT — John Harris, the co-founder of Politico, the influential political news website, will be interviewed Tuesday during an online Westport Library program.
The interview, conducted by Steve Parrish, can be viewed at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 19. To register for the event, click here for the online link.
Harris, a reporter who worked for the Washington Post more than two decades, co-founded Politico in 2007 with fellow Post reporter Jim VandeHei.
The website since then also has added a European edition and a series of podcasts on various topics.
Harris, who left Politico in 2019, is also the author of several books, including, “The Survivor: Bill Clinton in the White House.”
Parrish has hosted a series of “conversations” with a range of guests at the library.
The Westport resident is founder of Steve Parrish Consulting Group, LLC, specializing in crisis management, corporate social responsibility, public affairs and communications for senior executives of corporations, law firms, and nonprofit organizations, according to a publicity release from the library.
