WESTPORT — Roads in the southeastern section of town, adjacent to the Fairfield border, are expected to be congested Sunday morning as runners compete in the Bigelow Tea Community Challenge road race.

The 5K route of the race, which starts in Fairfield at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, crosses into Westport via Westway Road, turns west on Greens Farms Road and heads south on Sasco Creek Road onto Pequot Avenue in Fairfield.

Police warn drivers to expect most runners will be on the Westport segment of the race from shortly after 10 a.m. until about 11:30 a.m.
