NextGen Acela to hit 160 mph as new high-speed trains debut
Amtrak’s new NextGen Acela trains will hit 160 mph between Washington, D.C. and Boston starting Aug. 28. With expanded seating, upgraded Wi-Fi, and new amenities, the service marks a major leap for U.S. high-speed rail. While the closest Acela stops to Westport are in Stamford and New Haven, the impact will be felt across the Northeast Corridor.

It’s official: Metro-North fares to go up in September and July

Two-hour parking signs going up downtown Monday
