WESTPORT–The Historic District Commission has allowed the issuance of a demolition permit for the house at 3 Lowlyn Road.
The 2-story Colonial was built in 1956. It has 3,300-square-feet of living space, a basement, a wood deck, five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a half bathroom, a finished upper story and an unfinished attic.
The property traded hands in 1997 for $353,000. The property’s current assessment is $670,000.
