WESTPORT — The annual Thanksgiving Community Feast will not take place in person this year, but the holiday event’s spirit of sharing Westport’s bounty continues another way.

Organizers of the Thanksgiving observance, traditionally held at Saugatuck Congregational Church, decided not to host the dinner in person because of pandemic concerns.

In keeping with the feast’s long-standing tradition of sharing the season’s harvest and celebrating community inclusivity, a food-assistance program is being organized to help those in greatest need.

Households needing Thanksgiving food can complete a confidential request form by clicking here.

Or, call the “Feast Hotline” at 203-666-9804.

Requests will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis, with gift cards offered via mail or pick up, according to organizers.
