
WESTPORT–The Building Department issued a residential demolition permit Friday for the house at 4 Blue Chip Lane.
Though the house was built in 1900, after exterior modifications it is considered a “custom contemporary.” The 2-story house has 2,400-square-feet of living space, five bedrooms, three and a half baths, a basement, an in-ground pool, a stone patio, a wood deck and a finished upper floor.
The property traded hands in 2018 for $1.63 million. It had traded in 1995 for $1.19 million.
The property’s 2020 assessment was $1,159,100.
Blue Chip Lane is off of Harbor Road, which is off of Duck Pond Road.
