WESTPORT — A “Welcome Summer” celebration gets a jump on the season Saturday, sponsored downtown by the Westport Book Shop.
The free event is planned from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 4, on Jesup Green, across from the book store, 23 Jesup Road.
Activities will include a family dance party, crafts and snacks, as well as summer water safety tips from “Stewie the Duck.”
