FAIRFIELD – The Fairfield Museum and History Center will celebrate the Halloween season this weekend with special tours of the Oak Lawn Cemetery.

The tours will take place at 10 a.m. and noon on Saturday, October 25th. Tickets are $12 for museum members and $15 for non-members. Space is limited and registration is required.

The Oak Lawn Cemetery & Arboretum includes the graves of notable local residents including Mabel Osgood Wright, Jason Robards, and Mary Tyler Moore. The tour will also explore the nature features of the site and other qualities meant to make it an attractive place for visitors.

The Fairfield Museum and History Center itself will host Haunted Candy House Workshops at noon and 2 p.m. on the same day. The museum will also hold its 9th annual Halloween on the Green event on the museum commons from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 26th.
