
WESTPORT — An early autumn fundraiser at the Levitt Pavilion features a singer whose talents span a range of musical genres, making her a performer for all seasons.
Sheryl Crow, winner of nine Grammy Awards and known for classics like “All I Wanna Do,” “Can’t Cry Anymore,” “The First Cut is the Deepest” and “A Change Would Do You Good,” will perform at the Oct.8 fundraiser.
The concert is a ticketed benefit starting at 8 p.m., gates will open at 7. The event will take place, rain or shine.
Lead sponsor of the event is the Claudia and Arthur Cohen Foundation.
Ticket sales for the public started Monday. A general admission concert-only ticket costs $175 ($150 for Levitt members) in the “preferred” mid-lawn area, and $125 ($100 for members) in the “patron” rear-lawn area.
Tickets, including a 6 p.m. cocktail party at Don Memo restaurant, cost $1,000 for a front-lawn section “premium” Angel seat, $500 for a for a front-lawn section “premium” Benefactor seat, and $375 ($350 for a Levitt member) for “premium” section Friend seat.

Crow’s first nine studio albums sold 35 million copies globally, and she has charted several No. 1 hit songs and many others have been top sellers in the pop, adult contemporary and country genres.
On “Threads,” her current album, Crow collaborates with a range of artists, including Stevie Nicks, James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris and Kris Kristoffersson.
Crow also is known for supporting a number of charities, including the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the World Food Program, Feeding America, Adopt A Classroom and the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
