The Building Department issued a permit to allow the owners of 2 Sterling Drive to demolish their house.
Built in 1920, the 1¾-story cape has 2,200-square-feet of living space, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a crawl space, stone patio, finished upper story and a three-quarter story.
The property traded hands in May for $2,200,000. It traded for $1,219,300 in 2005 and for $358,000 in 1987. The assessor taxes the property based on an assessment of $779,000.
Sterling Drive is off of Compo Hill Drive, which is off of Hillspoint Road.
