WESTPORT–The Building Department has issued a permit to demolish the house at 44 Westfair Drive.
The 1¼-story cape was built in 1951. It has 2,000-square-feet of living space, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a basement area, garage, stone patio and finished attic expansion.
The property traded hands in 2022 for $958,000. It had previously traded for $635,000 in 2016 and for $609,600 in 2004. The property’s current assessment is $671,800.
