WESTPORT–The Building Department has issued a permit to demolish the house at 8 Canal Road; the two-story conventional was built in 1900. It has 1,800-square-feet of living space, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a raised basement, wood deck and finished upper story.
The property traded hands in December for $1,395,000. The property’s current assessment is $781,100.
Canal Road is off of Harbor Road, which is off of Duck Pond Road.
