WESTPORT–The Building Department today issued a permit to demolish the structure at 51 Compo Beach Road. In June, the Historic District Commission did not oppose the owner’s request for a permit to demolish the house.
The two-story ranch was built in 1900. It has 1,700-square-feet of living space, three bedrooms, two baths, a basement area, a crawl space, a concrete terrace and a finished upper story.
The property traded hands in May for $2,050,000. The property’s current assessment is $1,116,000.
Compo Beach Road is off Compo Road S.
