Rosalie (Swartz) Kaye, of Norwalk, formerly of Westport, Newton Center and Dorchester, Mass., passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025. 

She was the loving mother of Bruce Kaye and Misael Rodriguez of Milford, Joan and Roger Garbow of Ridgefield and Peter Kaye and Andrea Mazur of Chevy Chase, Md., as well as adored grandmother of Ben and Julia Garbow and Sally and Margot Kaye. She was the sister of Robert J. Swartz, and cherished daughter of the late Louis and Marian (Tapper) Swartz.

Graveside services will be held at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St., Sharon, Mass., on Friday, March 28, at 11:45 a.m.

Rosalie attended Girls’ Latin School in Boston, Mass., and graduated from Newton High School and Tufts University. She was a member of the Westport Woman’s Club, the Westport Weston Family YMCA, Westport Y’s Women and the Congregation for Humanistic Judaism of Fairfield County. She also volunteered at the Westport Country Playhouse.
