Julia Marino, a silver medalist in women’s slopestyle snowboarding at the Beijing winter games earlier this year, is featured in a lenticular artwork, by local artist Miggs Burroughs, unveiled Monday at the Saugatuck Railroad Station.

The piece will be posted outside the depot during the coming year, according to announcement by the Police Department, which oversees local rail facilities.

Marino, who attended Long Lots Elementary and Bedford Middle schools, was on hand for the unveiling Monday morning with her father John, and joined by the artist, First Selectwoman Jennifer Tooker, Police Chief Foti Koskinas and Deputy Chief Sam Arciola.
