WESTPORT–A New Haven woman is charged with being one of three shoplifters who stole $3,261.40 worth of beauty products last year at Ulta Beauty, 1365 Post Road East, police said.

Knowledje Madden, 22, is accused of being one of three suspects who allegedly stole the items on March 31, 2025. Ulta Beauty loss prevention officers reported the theft to police on Nov. 25, 2025.

Police identified Madden as a suspect after an investigation that included sharing information with other law enforcement agencies investigating similar incidents, police said.

Madden was incarcerated on another matter when she was taken to Superior Court in Stamford to face the Westport charges last Thursday. She was charged with third-degree larceny and third-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, both felonies.

Madden is being held on $25,000 bail and is due in Superior Court in Stamford on Aug. 27.
