Walk participants will join Rachel Doran’s grandfather, Michael Isenberg, as he marks his 83rd birthday and walks the last mile of his pledge to walk 1,000 miles annually in support of the charity established in honor of his granddaughter, who died in 2018 from a critical illness.

The event also will feature pizza, wine and beer, and music performed by the band Ellis Island.

Proceeds from the event will help Rach’s Hope provide food, transportation and lodging for families with loved ones in intensive-care units nationwide.
