Greens Farms RR lot to close for waste collection

WESTPORT — In preparation for the April 5 collection of household hazardous waste at Greens Farms Railroad Station, the depot’s Lot No. 1 will be closed the preceding evening.

The parking lot will be off limits after 5 p.m. Friday, April 4.

Any vehicle left in the lot after that time will be towed at the owner’s expense, officials warn.

Collection of household waste, free to residents, will take place 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5 at the lot, off New Creek Road.
