WESTPORT — The second day of Diwali — a largely Hindu holiday known as a festival of light — was celebrated Friday evening with an outdoor event at MoCA Westport.

AAPI Westport organized the event, which featured holiday crafts, food, and lots of sparklers.

Observance of the holiday represents a triumph of good over evil, light over darkness, and wisdom over ignorance.
