WESTPORT–Saturday night brought hundreds of Westporters together for the sixth annual “Fashionably Westport” fundraiser.

Hosted by the Westport Downtown Association, the sold-out event was a fund-raiser for Homes with Hope.

Scores of Westporters modelled clothing provided by Westport merchants; many of the “models” sported makeup and hair treatments provided by Westport stylists. According to one of the models, some of the the merchants gave the clothing to the models, some asked for the clothes and others offered the models a substantial discount.

Westporters Lonnie Quinn and Dave Briggs served as co-emcees. Quinn is WCBS-TV’s chief meteorologist. Briggs is a seasoned broadcast anchor professional.

Co-emcee Briggs told Westport Journal, “Fashionably Westport is always among my favorite nights of the year and this was no exception. The retailers are so supportive, the models, in particular the kids, stole the show and the crowd provided a perfect vibe. This one night is exactly what this town is all about!”

Helen McAlinden, President & CEO of Homes with Hope, said “Fashionably Westport was an incredible, sold-out fundraising evening that truly reflected the generosity of our community. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who attended and made it possible for the Downtown Westport Association to once again generously support Homes with Hope’s mission.”
