WESTPORT–On Sunday Nov. 9, The Saugatuck Congregational Church will host a free concert at 3 p.m.

A selection of piano trios by Clara Schumann and Johannes Brahms will be performed by the Solstice Piano Trio. According to a press release, the trio takes its name from a tradition born of the members’ love for direct, personal musical interaction. Every year on the Summer Solstice, the trio gathers to host a house concert for friends and community members. This annual event—the longest day of the year—has become the foundation of their identity, driving them to break down the barrier between audience and performer and foster a communal, shared experience of music.
