FAIRFIELD — Returning for its 17th year, the IMAGES juried exhibition at the Fairfield Museum and History Center will showcase striking images from both local and regional photographers.

Submissions for the exhibitions will be accepted through 11:59 p.m. on Monday, May 18th. The museum is seeking entries from professional, serious amateur, and student photographers from Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.

Categories for this year’s exhibition include landscape/street, nature, and architecture. In honor of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the special category “Fairfield’s Community: Past & Present” will also be under consideration.

Three jurors will select the photographs to be exhibited alongside Portraits of Fairfield, a special outdoor exhibition featuring the work of Southport-based photographer Loryne Atoui. For more information, click here.
