“Alice in Webland” tells the story of 10-year-old Alice who has a weekly web program showcasing trends that’s developed a following among her schoolgirl friends. One day, in a digital-age twist on “Alice in Wonderland,” she “falls into her screen and tumbles down a web-hole into actual Webland,” according to an announcement for the show.

Fourth-grader Zoe Hendel shares the role of Alice in the production with Samantha Flanders. Sixth-grader Lola Rockwell plays Penelope, an internet personal Alice admires, a role shared with Kayla Dubois.

“The journey Alice takes through Webland is a simulation of what the average young girl might experience scrolling through Instagram or TikTok,” Wright said in a publicity release for the show.

“The lessons she learns along the way will serve as instrumental training for any kids who are about to introduce social media into their lives.”
