Connecticut Air & Space Center to host Helicopter Day this weekend

STRATFORD — A celebration of “all things whirlybird” will take place this weekend at the Connecticut Air & Space Center.

Helicopter Day will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 11th. In case of inclement weather, the rain date will be Sunday, July 12th.

The event features more than a dozen vintage, modern, and military helicopters, including multiple examples built at the nearby Sikorsky company. The aircraft on view are subject to change.

Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for veterans, and $5 for children ages six and older. Children under the age of six are admitted free.
