Isabel Moskowitz, 74, of Westport, Connecticut, passed away on July 6, 2026.

Isabel was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, community leader, and trailblazer. She lived with strength, purpose, warmth, and generosity, giving deeply to her family, her community, and the work she loved.

A true pioneer in the financial services industry, Isabel built a distinguished career at a time when few women held leadership roles in the field. With determination, integrity, confidence, and entrepreneurial spirit, she charted her own course, built and led her own brokerage firm, advocated fiercely for her clients, and helped open doors for women who would follow. She was brave, capable, principled, and never afraid to challenge convention when the work mattered.

Isabel’s dedication to Jewish life was felt profoundly throughout the community. She was a founder and past President of TCS, where she served for decades on the Board of Directors, chaired countless committees, and supported the synagogue in ways both visible and quiet. She gave her heart to TCS and helped shape a community that will continue to carry her imprint. She also held leadership roles with Federation, ORT, and other Jewish organizations, working to strengthen Jewish life locally and beyond.

Above all, Isabel loved her family fiercely. She was happiest when bringing people together, especially around the holiday table, where she welcomed family and friends with extraordinary food, warmth, and care. She gave generously of herself through her love, advice, support, guidance, thoughtfulness, and steady presence. She had a sharp wit, a beautiful spirit, and a strength and resolve that made her a true force — in her family, her work, and her community.

Isabel is survived by her beloved husband, Steve Moskowitz; her daughter and son-in-law, Alyssa and Josh Gold; her brother, Michael Price; her stepchildren, Alan (Michelle) Moskowitz and Dana Moskowitz; and her granddaughters, Abigail Gold, Naomi, Zoe, and Dafne Moskowitz.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 11 a.m. at TCS, 30 Hillspoint Road, Westport, CT.

Donations in Isabel’s memory may be made to TCS or the Whittingham Cancer Center at Norwalk Hospital.
