Town tree will take a ‘bough’ for the holiday season

The annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony, featuring music performed by the Staples High Orphenians, will take place Dec. 4 at Town Hall. / File photos

WESTPORT — A ceremony to mark the annual lighting of the town’s Christmas tree is planned Dec. 4 at Town Hall.

The seasonal celebration will take place at 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4., in front of Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Ave.

First Selectwoman Jennifer Tooker will preside at the event, and the Staples High School Orphenians will perform a medley of songs for the season.
