NORWALK — The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum will host its 19th annual old-fashioned flea market this weekend, giving visitors a chance to discover unique finds.
The flea market will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13th at Mathews Park. The event is co-chaired by Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum trustee Lisa Pisano Henderson and the museum’s educator coordinator, Heather Dunn.
“We are bringing together the region’s top vendors, antique cars, and trendy food trucks for a day of family fun!” said Henderson and Dunn. “Visitors will also have an opportunity to explore the iconic Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum.”
The flea market will include vendor booths featuring items like antiques, repurposed furniture, jewelry, and farm-to-table goods. The Connecticut Seaport Car Club will also be at the event with a collection of classic and antique cars, and the museum’s volunteers will be hosting a white elephant table and providing mini-tours of the mansion’s first floor from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum’s educational and cultural programs. For more information, click here.
