NEW CANAAN — A series of films on architecture’s impact on people and communities will be shown this weekend at Grace Farms.

The Humanity in Architecture Film Festival will debut on Friday, Jan. 30th and continue on Saturday, Jan. 31st. A total of 11 films “exploring the built environment’s power to enrich our human experience and to remind us of our capacity to create positive change in the world” will be shown, with several screenings accompanied by conversations and Q&A sessions.

The event is hosted in collaboration with the Architecture & Design Film Festival, and the films were curated by co-festival directors Kyle Bergman and Toshihiro Oki.

The festival will open with Søren Pihlmann: Make Materials Matter at 6 p.m. on Friday. The remaining films will be shown between 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday.
