WESTPORT — Longshore Golf Course is expected to open for a new season March 28.
A cautionary note: That first day on the municipal links will take place “weather permitting,” according to the announcement by Parks and Recreation Director Jennifer Fava.
Otherwise, “Head golf professional Jon Janik and our golf course superintendent Brad Brown have been working hard to make sure the pro shop, staff and course are ready for this new season,” Fava said announcing the Tuesday, March 28, opening date.
The tee time reservation system will operational at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, March 23.
Westport residents can purchase or renew a golf handpass online or at the Parks and Recreation Department office from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office is located in Longshore Club Park, 260 Compo Road South.
