WESTPORT – The original house at 9 Sherwood drive was built in 1991. The Building Department issued a demolition permit for that house in July 2021. 

The demolished house was a Colonial with two stories, 1,900-square-feet of living space, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a basement and a deck.

On the property today stands a 3,700-square-foot, 2-story custom design, with five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a half-bathroom, a basement area, a garage, a stone patio, an in-ground pool, a finished upper story and a finished half-story.

The property traded hands in July for $3,778,359. It had traded in 2021 for $1,250,000 and for $175,000 in 1991. 

The assessed value of the property was $830,100 in 2020 and is $1,027,900 today.

Sherwood Drive is off of Compo Hill Road, which is off of Hillspoint Road.
