GREENWICH — The changing style of a local artist’s work, including her international influences, will be the focus of an upcoming exhibition from the Greenwich Arts Council.

The Art of Bing: An Evolution will go on display with an opening reception from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10th at the Bendheim Gallery. The exhibition will run through Oct. 4th.

The exhibition will showcase the work of Marian “Bing” Bingham, a Greenwich-based artist. Bingham’s work has been influenced by years of living and traveling throughout Europe and Asia, with influences including Chinese brushwork, Impressionist color, and traditional realism and abstraction. She has also worked across different mediums including painting, pastel, watercolor, oil, and printmaking, with the recurring themes of horses, nature, movement, color, and place.
