WESTPORT–The Building Department has issued a permit to demolish the house at 61 High Point Road.
The single-story ranch was built in 1955. It has 3,100-square-feet of living space, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a half-bathroom, a basement area, a crawl space, a garage and a wood deck.
The property traded hands in December for $1,160,000. It had previously traded for $470,000 in 1989. The property’s current assessment is $571,500.
High Point Road is off Long Lots Road.
