WESTPORT–The Historic District Commission recently approved the issuance of a permit to demolish the house at 3 Hickory Hill Road.
The 1½-story cape was built in 1935. It has 1,900-square-feet of living space, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a half-bathroom, a basement area, a crawl space, a garage, a wood deck, a finished half-story and a finished attic.
The property traded hands in 1998 for $465,000. The property’s current assessment is $442,400.
Hickory Hill Road is off of Compo Road North.
