WESTPORT–The Building Department issued a permit to demolish the house at 27 Buena Vista Drive. It is the latest in a series of residential demolitions at properties that have traded for more than three million dollars.

The single-story ranch was built in 1950. It has 1,700-square-feet of living space, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a basement area, a crawl space and a screen patio.

The property traded hands last November for $3,500,000. It had previously traded for $175,000 in 1984. The property’s current assessment is $1,098,200.

Buena Vista Drive is off of Compo Hill Road, which is off of Hillspoint Road at Old Mill Beach.
