WESTPORT–The Historic District Commission recently approved the issuance of a permit to demolish the house at 26 Hitchcock Road.
The two-story Colonial was built in 1962. It has 2,900-square-feet of living space, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a half-bathroom, a basement area, a concrete porch, a wood deck and a finished upper story.
The property has been in the same family since at least 1962. The property’s current assessment is $551,300.
Hitchcock Road is off of Roseville and Cross Highway.
