WESTPORT–The Building Department today issued a permit to demolish the house at 23 Bulkley Avenue N.

The 1¼-story cape was built in 1946. It has 1,200-square-feet of living space, three bedrooms, one bathroom, a basement area, a wood deck and finished attic expansion.

The property traded hands three weeks ago for $801,000. It had previously traded for $297,500 in 1998. The property’s current assessment is $351,500.

Bulkley Avenue N connects Post Road East and Long Lots Road.
