WESTPORT — A Bayberry Road water main break Friday morning has closed the street to traffic, between Highland Road and Cross Highway, while repairs take place.
Water service to approximately 20 households in the area has been disrupted by the break, according to an alert posted by the Aquarion water company.
The break in a 16-inch main was reported about 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aquarion said.
The alert states that service is not expected to be fully restored until between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. Friday.
