WESTPORT–The Building Department issued a permit to allow the owners of 217 Wilton Road to demolish their house.
The single-story ranch was built in 1930. It has 1,700-square-feet of living space, two bedrooms, a bathroom, half-bathroom, garage, open porch, enclosed porch, concrete patio and a studio with 1,000 square-feet of living space.
The property traded hands in June for $875,000. It had previously traded for $359,500 in 1997. The property’s current assessment is $396,200.
